Moisture Balance Decoction is a prepared herbal formula of the ancient prescription, "Qiang Huo Sheng Shi Tang" (Notopterygium Decoction to Overcome Dampness) in TCM originally appeared in Nei Wai Shang Bian Huo Lun (Differentiation on Endogenous and Exogenous Diseases), which is primarily used for syndrome due to attack of exogenous wind and dampness on the body, pain of shoulder and back headache with heaviness sensation in the limbs, or pain in the back and loin, difficulty in turning round or sidewards.

Actions: Expelling wind and eliminating dampness.

Indications: It is indicated for exogenous wind-dampness syndrome, marked by heaviness and pain of the head, waist and back, or general pain of the body with difficulty in turning round, whitish fur and superficial pulse. It is applicable to common cold, rheumatic arthritis, hemicrania, angioneurotic headache, lumbar strain, which pertain to attack by exogenous wind-dampness on the superficies and upper body; acute catarrhal conjunctivitis, syndrome of pathogenic wind exceeding pathogenic heat; herpes simplex keratitis, syndrome of wind-heat invasion of eye.

Directions: Take 3 pills each time, 2 times a day.
